If our mayor Protheroe is happy to endorse and sanction a Youth Centre that will also be a Centre for drug users and alcoholics, isn't he guilty of double-standards considering he runs a business that is all about selling as much alcohol as possible? You have to be in the 'inner circle' of Council and Roundtable to see your business treated fairly. Otherwise you will notice the cold shoulder.... Talking of 'inner circle', everyone should pay attention to all the recent planning applications by Dawlish Councillors. They work so hard for us, don't they?

I think you will find avoidance is the remit of Dawlish Council.

You won't learn much from Dawlish Town Council website. They omit important and relevant content, when they should be fully informing the public they serve. Other Councils (for example-Torquay Council) have user friendly websites, entertaining full interaction with all residents. It's obvious! Without doing a deal for this multi-use Centre, our financially inept and useless Dawlish Town Council would not have been able to build a Youth Centre. They obviously did whatever they could to avoid this embarrassing admittance of ineptitude to the people of Dawlish, that they pulled off this scam.

I've experienced the bullying of Joey Deacon. Can't stand the bigot. I wonder if he would be just as keen on openess in Dawlish Council meetings, where at present, all Councillors votes are kept hidden, therefore, those of us outside the Council have no idea who voted for what.
