PR nonsense! Our councillors do not listen to anyone except their corrupt circle. They pay lip service to Dawlish residents while colluding with each other to line their pockets.
Example; how was it that the previous owner of Red Rock Apartments was denied planning permission, yet as soon as Protheroe and son purchase this site, hey presto, planning permission is granted! I wonder how the previous owner would have fared had they been on the Council?
As I type, yet more abuse of planning laws is rearing it's ugly head! Also, we have a change of use for the new Youth Centre.....with NO consultation with residents. Does that give you faith in contacting our 'listening' councillors?
They have been dining on people's previous reticence to ask questions....and now they don't like the sea-change of investigation and scrutiny through public journalism.
Contact our Councillors to find out their thoughts?! Have you seen that list of Councillor names?! Looks like a wanted list of crooks to me. I would not trust the majority of them to inform me of the time, let alone, council matters.
How could you trust a group of people who conspire at every decision involving our town?
