DAWLISH SKIP LORRIES
Having witnessed Dawlish Skip lorries driving at speed I couldn't believe what I witnessed this morning.
A pedestrian was waiting to cross on the zebra crossing along the Exeter road just before the turning to Eastcliff Road, a car had stopped to let this person cross But the skip lorry didn't stop.
And what happened next?
Was the pedestrian ok?
Did the lorry leave tyre marks on the road?
Did the lorry hit the car, soft or with force?
That's disgraceful. You should complain to the relevant authorities matey.
I don't think that whinging on here will make any difference.
It's not about whinging......it's about informing and educating. Make people aware of what is truly going on in Dawlish.
Exactly my point! With the speed and the weight of these lorries I shudder to think what would happen if one had to do an emergency stop.
Someone else to have a petty, vindicative and potentially libellous grudge against eh Roy?
