When giving to charities, optimise the benefits of your donation by contributing directly to your chosen charity. This way, charities will gain the maximum amount from your philanthropy.

When you give money to the likes of Roundtable or Rotary, they 'cream off' up to 40 per cent through loopholes, which they call 'admin'. That's a lot of money NOT going where it should be.

Just as offensive, is the way Rotary and Roundtable shout loudly about how much money they have raised for charity....when the truth is, it is the public, not them, that have donated.

When collecting for charity, do it quietly and with dignity. Do not use it as a PR exercise.

GIVE TO CHARITIES DIRECTLY.

Even if you give to charities directly many of them cream off money. Alot of Cancer charities do(cancer research were found to be one of the worst).RSPCA are very bad as well. The best thing to do is check out the admin costs for the large charities, you can usually find them out.
Not sure where you get your figures from about roundtable but if it wasnt for them alot of charities wouldnt receive a penny.
Before you say anything, no im not a member of the roundtable, rotary or any other charity organisation.

In your desperate attempt to defend your 'creaming-off' of money from donations, you attack legitimate, honest charities.

Why don't you just inform people of the charities that exist and instruct them how to make donations to those charities directly?

But of course you won't, because it not only supplies you with income, but it also gives you brownie points in the community.

Very devious and very wrong.

Rotary and Round Table are registered charities.
What other charities collect for other charities and why do they do it?
I guess there is more in it for them than they care to declare.

Good point Viaduct. You certainly wouldn't get a business collecting for another business unless there was money in it for them.

Have you noticed how chicken and deacon constantly plea they have nothing to do with Roundtable, Rotary or Council....yet continually defend them to the hilt? Things people will do for a free bit of ale.....

The reason so many of us have to plea is because of you dickhead. If someone says something you dont agree with, you accuse them of being a councillor, roundtable or rotary. You've even accused me of being a reverend you toss-pot, your a laughing stock.
