Teignmouth get's a brand new Fish Quay, allowing many restaurants in their town to serve up delicious 'just-caught' fresh fish.

What do we get? A Youth/Remand Centre that will bring druggies and alcoholics and many other disaffected to the town from all over Teignbridge.

What an inept and useless Council we have in Dawlish. Can we swap them for the Council in Teignmouth?

Saw this on the news, feel so envious of Teignmouth. We only have a mobile Fish van :-(

Fish from supermarkets is nothing like fish from quayside or fishmonger.

Teignmouth seems vibrant with excitement of Fish Quay. What do we have to get excited about? A blimmin Remand Centre! Great!

Now there is news that Dawlish Council is planning to squander more money, by building new Council premises. Did they ask us residents if we wanted something that is unnecessary?

Of course not! The same contempt has been shown over this as was shown with the 'change of use' Youth Centre. Where on earth was the consultation with us residents?!

How about this for previous ineptitude! Can you explain why Teignmouth Council is only paying £35,000 for 12 CCTV Cameras, when Dawlish Council paid £80,000 to £100,000 for less Cameras? Could it be that our Councillors were far more interested in tendering out contracts to 'friends'?

Hey look everyone....the old 'deflection' ruse! For a man who has stated he has no interest in Council matters he continues to stumble onto Council threads. How very strange.....

His devious approaches betray his denials of being a Councillor. If only he was just as persistent in ensuring our Council is run without corruption or underhand policies.

Arent most large decisions made in Teignmouth and newton anyway.Dawlish council is tin-pot and wouldnt make these kind of decisions as it doesnt have the power or funding
