According to their (brainwave) website, they are moving to Richmond Place, and Stewarts is the only property for them there, unless I am mistaken

@Dawlish Man . i believe that it was due to staffing problems and something to do with the chap who was the manager (not mr baker)leaving. that is what i have heard, so it may not be gospel.

@ J Warrener. Yes, I walked out on the Saturday afternoon. IMO, the Smugs is the wrong place for a beer fest, as you cannot classify it as a pub anymore. Its a restaurant that sells beer, and not a pub that sells food. A good idea would be to have a marquee on the Lawn and have the fest in there. Our wonderful hard working council can organise it, so then we will see if they CAN organise a Pi$$ up ...

Correct. I have since been informed that the refuse collectors are NOT picking up loose black bags now. Only rubbish in your wheelie bin will be collected.

This bandstand has to be the biggest joke ever, and shows exactly what the council and the residents of this dying town really are. Apathetic. I would also like to add, that there in nothing more annoying than people who move into the area and start wanting to change things. There is nothing wrong with the sea wall. The Swan Inn now does excellent food. Far superior than all the rubbish you get in town. As for the Lansdown, who in their right mind would want to eat there? Same as a lot of other places in town. All they serve up is cheap tacky food for cheap tacky chavs, who's only insight to foreign food is a Chinese on a Friday, Kebab or Pizza on a Saturday, and the most exciting of all, a Macdonalds when ...
