How do they get away with putting a food menu sign 3ft off the kerb in the road ...and today blimy a wooden stand to place your pint! it also 3ft off the kerb? I so wish Dawlish had nice pubs, I know..what the town has suits Dawlish... surely not everyone wants to watch overpaid men running after a ball. Will they have the girls and tennis soon? now thats different lol.

Thats the Lansdowne for you. They are a law unto themselves, and it is a Chavs Palace. There ARE decent pubs in Dawlish, and the simple solution is, DONT go in the Lansdowne if you dont like it. As for putting the table in the road, that was for the 3 legged race.

I was thinking the same, there are decent pubs in Dawlish. The Lansdowne is what it is, some people must like it otherwise it would shut. Try using another pub.
