Just come home from yet another business trip, and have discovered that Dawlish will be blessed with a visit by a member of the Royal Family sometime in September. It is believed to be the Countess of Wessex. (Sophie) I am sure that more information will be available in our wonderful newspapers this week. ps. @ DM. Sorry friend, but you got the wrong person. I assume that the old guy taking the pictures who I was talking to that morning, was the person you think I am. Sorry to disappoint you. Better luck next time. Have a good week my friend.

And the Gazette have ONLY just found out, and calling it an EXCLUSIVE in their online edition. http://www.dawlishnewspapers.co.uk/News.cfm?id=28985&headline=Countess%20to%20open%20%C2%A32.4m%20youth%20centre Whereas you announced it 5 weeks earlier. Well done Mr Investigator.

One of the trustees told me that Dawlish councillors were put out by not receiveing an invitation especially cllr Mrs Prowse, that was because Sophie only wanted to meet mainly children and parents. Well done Sophie.

There were quite a few councillors turning up smiling for the photographers.

Just like the general public who turned up without an invite. You sound like the original Roy , before someone stole his identity.

Certainly not anything like Roy, I just hate the arrogance of some of our Councillors.

I see Mr Moneybag$ was there. Wally Protheroe. You thought he would've had the decency to have had a hair cut.

Has Anybody read the letters page of the Dawlish Gazette today? Cllr Prowse who was annoyed she did not receive an invitiation to the opening of the Youth Centre has written a letter in the DG, what unblievable arrogance of the woman. Quote "It heartening to see what good use some of the money raised during my year as Mayor have been put to. I am also delighted with the public recognition that the Dawlish Gardens Trust is receiving. This also benefited from my charities money.
