Amber Coast website states:- Information > Getting Involved > The festival is run, primarily, by volunteers to raise money for charity and to promote the Amber Coast area. One of our aims is also to engage and promote community cohesion by providing volunteering opportunities. We need managers, supervisors and team members prior, during and after the event. In return for volunteering you may be given free entry to the event, a free event staff t-shirt, event programme, and free/ subsidised meals whilst on duty. We will also give you basic training and equipment to allow you to carry the job you have volunteered for and lastly you will have the in being involved one of the areas major events. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have sent 2 emails in the past 12 days and they havent even acknowledged them. How do they expect to get local interest when they cant be bothered with locals and ignore their requests? Are they too busy slapping each other on the back saying well done? Even if they had bothered to reply and say 'No thank you', it would have been something. Oh well. One learns from ones mistakes. They have now lost my support, and it will be something that I will be adding to my blogs.
@Amosite. here is the website. all the info is on there. take not that they say 'you may get tickets for the event', and not 'you will be given tickets for the event'. good luck. http://www.ambercoastfestival.co.uk/index.htm
