Just because people give christmas cards and the streets and towns are filled with decorations, does this mean that we should add to this by holding a christmas market? what about the minority?
Perhaps they were not happy with the level of service or the talent on karaoke night that singing is enough to send anyone out of there head.
A BUILDER told yesterday how he "died" three times after being stung in the mouth by a wasp. Jason Broom, 37, suffered anaphylactic shock when he was stung while sipping from a can of cider. Luckily, his frantic girlfriend Wendy Marriner, 41, found first-aiders Alan Belcher and Kelvin Hopton holidaying at the same caravan park. They gave Jason the kiss of life while waiting for an air ambulance in ...
Hi, Surely Dawlish is not a Healthy place to be?
If you aren't doing anything wrong, you've got nothing to fear. However all the paedophiles stalking the Lawn, and little old men from Daw Vale fisting their dogs, had better watch out.
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance

The posts are in, and when the weather permits cabling and cameras will follow, despite the fact the the council undertook a consultation exercise involving about 1,000 people - 800 residents and 200 tourists of which less than 5 per cent actually mentioned the fear of crime. One man, a retired writer named Keith Sharp, has done everything in his power to stop the system because he believes it ...
Tory Anthony Steen (Totnes) called for armoured trains for a rail line hindered by "high water and falling cliffs". He raised conditions on the scenic route between Dawlish Warren and Teignmouth, south Devon where the track runs along the edge of the sea and through a series of short tunnels in the cliffs. Mr Steen called for government cash to bypass the area or provide the special trains. But ...

Prince attends the rehab centre during the week where he is placed on a diet which includes fasting one day a week. Other techniques veterinary clinic Linhay uses to rehabilitate pets include Pilates and trampolining. Meanwhile an RSPCA spokeswoman ...
It is really sad when you here about people who haven't had contact with a family member for years. I have young children and am close to all my family so it is really hard to comprehend what it would be like if of my children lost contact with each other when they get older. Family values don't seem as important in our society these days.

The small seabird, normally found in the North Pacific, was spotted earlier today just off Boat Cove. A local birdwatcher said that he had been observing it for several hours. It spent most of its time swimming out to sea, occasionally coming inland to feed. The Murrelet is a breed of bird that has experienced a decline in numbers over the recent years. The birds are found from Kamchatka (Russia) ...

Only 2 of England's 413 monitored bathing waters failed to reach the minimum 'mandatory' standard. Dawlish Warren Pass (G) Pass (G) Dawlish Town Pass (G) Pass ...

Preparations are in full swing for the long-awaited opening of a play area in Dawlish. The hard work and efforts of a group of mothers will be realised tomorrow when the £45,000 Sandy Lane play area opens its gates. In March 2003 the existing play area was worn out, shabby and had come to the end of its life. At the time there was no available funding to purchase new equipment and the future for ...
Two town emblems have turned their back on Teignbridge and swanned off for an 11-mile sea trip and visit to Torquay. The precious black swans, who are unable to fly, made a break for it earlier in the week and were reported missing from Dawlish on Wednesday. Normally found in Australia and New Zealand, they have been Dawlish's town emblem for well over 40 years. Concerned members of the public ...
Care kirst looks like matt wants to get in ya pants.
Didn't want to make you blush Dave. You're quite right about the state of literacy in the UK, not just Dawlish. If you want to either laugh or cry at how extreme a problem this is, try looking at any auction on Ebay. I can guarantee 99% of the descriptions will have the most cringeworthy errors. ( just spent 5 minutes checking this post for grammar......think it's ok? )
