I think some of you may be missing the point. As Sainsbury have already been given planning permission to build at Shutterton Bridge and it is deemed that Dawlish needs one new supermarket only there is therefore no need for another one. So Tesco at Lady's Mile would be surplus to requirements and would also take away land that is used for tourism.
note drunken rant from chicken shed. heaven forbid that he represents a legit charity! best of wishes to Snooky Trust. Look after Cloudi....she rocks! But get off the cover songs girlfriend!
usual guilty admittance of a response. come and be recorded with your passions

Is the sewage works called "The Mount Pleasant Inn"? There is often a bad smell in there and when there is, out come the smellie spray canisters.

A wet and wild start to Dawlish Carnival has not deterred thousands of visitors who are continuing to enjoy a host of festivities on offer this week. Some events at the weekend were postponed due to poor weather. But the carnival, celebrating its 40th anniversary, is now on schedule. What's with the NO BATHING on Dawlish sea-front? Is that sewage coming out of the pipes near The Brook?
Before you put money in that bucket....ask questions! Which charities are donations going to? Why do Roundtable/Rotary 'cream off' up to 40 per cent for Admin? Why are they set up as a charity, to collect for other charities?
Why doesn't our Council or local Newspapers supply us all with this information? Disgraceful.
with all the rain we've been having i wouldn't be surprised if further pollution stories are suppressed.
Anyone know any more info about this. It was in this week's Dawlish Post. "Teignbridge District Council proposes to dispose of an interest in 130 sq metres or thereabouts of open space by way of the grant of a 25 year lease at Sandy Lane Dawlish. The land is part of the recreation field and will be part of the new skateboard park. It is an additional area required to that referred to in the ...

Saw a Junk band at Dawlish Carnival today....never has a band resembled their name so accurately. Absolute junk!
parochial response when so much beyond dawlish affects us.
I'm looking for a 2/3 bed house to rent long term in Dawlish. I have tried the Google search but the agents fees are unbelievable. If anyone knows of anywhere please reply to this thread. Thanks.
Did you mean a "gower" or "goer"? I see the Protheroes ride under the name of "Gower Properties". Now for all those including JD, why would they do that? If it is meant to be "goer", then that explains the thinking associated with the mind of JD, neither male nor female, just muddled.
yeah come on, spit it out
Missed out Bradleys - try them as well.
