Could you please explain to users of the forum why the news item "Police Warn About Travelling Vehicle Crime Gang" has a photograph at the bottom of the page showing caravans and designated Pikeys-25925.jpg?

Don, the News article was put on by a site member and not me. If there is a problem with it then please let me know.

There is no problem at all with the article. However, it is accompanied by a photograph of Romany caravans that has a designation that includes "Pikeys", a word not normally used other than in a derogatory way.

The article mentions the thieves travelling into the area.

I believe that the photo has been deliberately posted so that readers will draw the conclusion that "travellers" are responsible.
