Over the last week a car with Book Keeping service sign writing on has appeared driving around Dawlish and sourrounding area`s.
I would like to warn every body that she is not qualified, and does not actually have any experience.
You don't necessarily need a qualification for book-keeping. Book-keeping to trial balance can be learned when you are working; a lot of it is simple common sense and good mathematics. After the trial balance a qualified accountant usually takes over. This is how I learned it but I am not the person that orchid lady is talking about!
Cassandra,
Well said.
I learned for myself when I had my own company and subsequently kept books for someone else.

When I look into my crystal ball, I did not see Roy or FEL-699, coming to orchid lady's rescue. Fiction is far from fact, but it can be sometimes closer than you think.
It's a bit early for the gin, even for you Viaduct...
I, for one, didn't realise that she was a damsel in distress - I assumed that she's a competitor to the new kid on the block, and was using this forum for a dirty tricks campaign.
Though I'd have thought that 'Book-keeper Wars' would be a bit more sedate than the recent similar 'Taxis Wars'...
i am not a fellow book keeping competitor. But this girl does not even have gcse qualifications in maths and has tried to do simple books for a local business who is now struggling because of her.
I have put this on here to let local businesses know that she is a liability. You can listen to this warning or think that im a competitor. Just remember youve been warned.
no your not who i am talking about. you do a very good job on your book keeping. i have proof and evidence that this person is not capable of doing the simplest of even maths equasions.
