It may be the case that only Conservative members have a vote but to say it is an internal Conservative Party matter is for the birds. I'll feel free, along with many others, to express my opinion of him and any other politician whatever party they are in whether or not I am a member of that particular party. Freedom of speech and all that.
If Johnson is selected to be the next Tory leader then you can express an opinion of him at the ballot box, until then it's an internal Conservative party matter, unless you fancy joining in order to have a say.
