Your local occupational therapist is probably your best call they know everything, ask council or doctor for the phone number.
08 DAYS TO GO Sponsored 5.6 Mile Walk - Saturday 08th September 2012 @ 10:30am Welcome, we are now 8 days left and nerves are jangling. As you can see a whopping £359.50 has been raised but due to rules issued beyond our control it actually is less. HMRC stipulate that no business can gift aid, only an individual so if you wish to sponsor please do so but place your home address on the form. ...
@ Phillip. A bit late I know but here's the climax of the duck race. Steward and duck-catcher looking on dutifully as ducks jostle for position at the line! !
Don't forget that it's a blue moon tomorrow night. And for Lon Chaney Jr fans of a werewolf inclination don't forget also that ....... "Even a man who's pure at heart, And says his prayers by night, Becomes a wolf when the wolfbane blooms, And the moon is shining bright" (Wolfbane is out on Haldon Moor now!!)
Fredbassett, my mother had a saying 'think before you speak'
Tradesmen have been reported calling door to door offering services for repairs to the owners property, or telling the occupants that they have inspected the property and work needs to be done. It seems they are targetting mainly the elderly. The police have advised anyone who feels the work needs to be done, obtain at least two other quotes from reputable tradesmen. 'Teignbridge Council has ...
The swinging of cats comes to mind, tiny little wooden boxes at highly inflated prices. Still far better than the affordable option and the import of Exeter and Newton Abbots drop outs
@Lynne .when water is back on,run the cold tap for about 2 minutes, and the reddish hue should have gone.
Would that explain my lack of water supply do you think?
Whilst a lift isn't needed at Dawlish Warren platform, its a shame that Network Rail (or First Group) don't have the finances for a pair of lifts at Dawlish.
These courses are open to anyone wanting to learn real self-defence or anyone wanting to become a Level 1 certified instructor. To become a certified instructor you must complete all five courses. However, you do not have to take them all in one week, or in order. Each course is approximately 8 hours. You may finish the courses you are not able to take at a future seminar anywhere in the world. ...
Cool. Thanks. Condition is excellent, super comfy but well loved ;-)
And that reminds me that I saw that the site that's currently home to the infamous Sunburnt Arms is up for sale for something like £480K (or thereabouts). I overheard in a cafe yesterday that the owners allegedly turned down a £750K offer for the site about 4 or 5 years ago. Life is full of "if onlys" eh?!!!!!
Hi Cara. Why not download any pics that contain what you think are pictures of family and send a picture with story to the Gazette? You can do it online. Even post a few on here. Other ways you can reunite camera with owner, email the camera manufacturer (UK Office) and give them the serial number, and if the person has registered the camera, they will have the records. Have a lovely ...
Maybe its been switched off with the amount of complaints!!!!
from DCC's website: "Another outstanding year of exam success at Dawlish Community College For the third year in a row Dawlish Community College have achieved their best ever set of GCSE results with some big improvements on the excellent grades achieved last year. This is particularly pleasing given that the national picture is showing that results across England have decreased. The ...
I would guess there will be a bit of back stabbing now, health & safety, planning. The new boot fair has to attract people so thats why it's free entry and cheaper for sellers, but the sellers prices will probably go up once established. The good thing is its good for the public (cheaper), good for sellers and best of all the money goes to childrens hospice. Brilliant
Well there you go then! Just about the right figure to pay for half of the road - the other half coming from the 1000 odd houses which WILL be built along the new route. Teignbridge must know that this will happen already - they should come clean about it.
You tried to visit all 4 of these public toilets in one day?? Your name is George Michael and I claim my five pounds.
Home now, and letter states "..... at times that cause least disruption"
Haven't responded to your first post (above) I as I have nothing to say with regards to the questions you pose.

Northerner as you have stated on another thread that you earn in excess of £150,000 a year maybe you should frequent a private members club where you can express your snobbery. Leave the average drinking holes to us average people.
This message relates to Police Log No. 261 of 22nd August 2012. It has just been reported to us that an intruder was found in a property in the Elm Grove Road area of Dawlish this morning, 22nd August. The householder was visiting a neighbour and had left the front door to the property insecure. The male was described as being a white male, 5ft 10ins tall, in his 40's, stocky build with short ...
