The Council is putting on a new indoor market inside its leisure centre as it looks to boost the offer for residents using the popular leisure centre. The market is being held on Sunday February 24 from 10am until 4pm and will ...

Chef, She was my mother's aunt (Auntie Katie) who was an incredible woman by all accounts. She introduced the pilot scheme in South Wales due to the chronic malnutrition (and indeed Ricketts - hope that's spelled right) of children from poorer families there. It was then rolled out across the country. I'm not sure of the surname (could be Thomas) but will try to find out. My mother ...
Thought mileage was all to do with Octane ratings?

Hundreds of people descended on a sunny town to celebrate Valentine's Day on a brand new scale. Around 500 people flocked to Love Dawlish in the town centre. This is now becoming stupid. Was up there yesterday and speaking to the agent from Cavanna. Apparently the need for all these houses is so great they have managed to sell, wait for it - Three. Someones having a laugh here and its obvious that public money is just being wasted on these projects. Whats the point in building houses that nobody wants or can afford, when there are no jobs and no ...
Probably a local councillor that bought it, through the back door of course
@Fred Main reason from my experience is to employ a paid manager because volunteers are overall less reliable or don't like to do certain aspects of the job - like the adding up, training, covering illness in other shops, banking, buying supplies, ensuring H&S legislation is obeyed (COSSH) etc. Great volunteers certainly exist, but the ones that can run a shop and do all the other little jobs ...

Missed this episode, I have to admit I have enjoyed his travels through devon and was looking forward to this one. Will catch up with it on iPlayer hopefully. the closing credits for this series include footage of the steam train at the warren and past the coastguard cottages.
The US National Climate Data Centre is obviously feeling threatened by groundhog Phil because it has apparently published a formal rebuttal saying that groundhog forecasts have not been as accurate as claimed!! What they haven't done is compare Phil's six week forecast with their own.
Andy, I struggled to find it too, you're not being thick! Hover over the bottom of the message of the person you want to contact, where agree/report is and there is a message option too.

regarding the spend spend spend comments on here, you are correct, if in hard times you pull back and stop spending the economy reduces, I believe we should continue to spend though on things such as research and development also supporting export businesses and new inventions, new technologies. On a personal level I believe in hard times like these I think people should really think about how ...
