BREAKING NEWS - DAWLISH CAM

A local Businessman had always wanted to have a webcam at Dawlish and after seeing that the RailCam camera had been removed, decided to take matters into his own hands.

The new camera will be a few hundred yards further along the coast from our old spot and will make use of high quality equipment to provide the best images possible. The camera will have its own website www.dawlishbeach.com, but the owner has kindly offered to let us feature it on the RailCam website too. If all goes to plan, the camera should be online this month and will hopefully show some of the efforts to restore the railway over the coming weeks.

As well as the page mentioned above, you can also look in on the Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/dawlishbeach and YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs1hoU1QdHuxrmNltGAYjkg

As mentioned yesterday through our social media sites, our thoughts are with all our friends and supporters, and indeed everyone effected by the storms down in Dawlish, we are looking forward to seeing the town back to it's beautiful self very soon. Stay safe.
