General Discussion

Just to report back on the situation at the Leisure Centre, as I appreciate people are concerned 

it's very orderly, most people are sorted with safe accommodation and arrangements are being made for those who need more help.

People are still shocked by the upheaval in their lives, and worried about the future

However, the phrase I keep hearing is, count our lucky stars it could have been worse.  At least no-one was lost  ( There was just one injury as far as I know, and that was a police officer who fell)

Everyone I speak to is full of praise for Police, emergency services and staff from the County and District.  The team effort has been outstanding and shown great sensitivity.
