In principle I found myself agreeing with many of the things RB said, although there was no substance to it many of the points he made were valid. This country has been governed by see saw politics for far to long, each party slating the other, and when either get into power they blame the last for the countrys problems, we somehow allow this to continue ! Some of the partisan comments I read on ...
It would be helpful to know where these occurences took place?

Thanks for your answer Duckileaks, such a shame to pull it down. To Roberta, I saw the photo in the Gazette also, what a coincidence it should be in there this week!
I guess the government thinks it can tell us we've never had a nuclear accident in an atomic power plant because the fire was in a military reactor, trying to produce tritium for the H-bomb. So it doesn't count, does it ?
thanks @gamer My laptop (Windows 8) is connected by wifi. The Digiflex dongle is compatible with it so I'll give it a go. Thanks very much.
Does anyone know of a primary to 11+ tutor within the Dawlish area please, for a year 6 student.
Despite thousands of us getting in touch with our MPs to demand changes to the Lobbying Bill, I’m sad to report not enough of them supported the amendments we wanted. I’m writing today as we need to take action again. As it stands the Lobbying Bill will still badly affect our ability to campaign for the rights of the world’s poorest people. But all is not lost. The Bill will be debated in the ...
I heard on the news a couple of weeks ago that there was a water company ( not sure which ) that wanted to put up their prices. The Government stepped in and stopped the intended raise. So why can't they do it with Electric companies.
More houses more council tax , retain jobs in the council and the fat cat pay packets to the senior employees in the council.
If you would like a Devon and Cornwall Police 'No Trick or Treat' poster for your house in preparation for Halloween PM your address and one will be posted through your letter box.
One problem with a lot of mp's is that they don't understand that it is not their views they should be putting across, but the views of the electorate who voted them in. I may be dreaming here, but aren't mp's supposed to champion our causes and not their own. You don't see many mp's who were either unemployed or on min age becoming mp's do you !
Why can't they sort this out, it's been like this for ages?
This seems like an excellent idea but why can't they team up with the Woodland Trust. Then maybe there could be an option of free fruit trees being delivered to schools, or even encouraging the setting up of community orchards.

Hi, I am after any memorabilia of Golden Sands over the years, anything from brochures to photos. I have holidayed there for 29 years and my parents before that, but it has gone down hill terribly under the new owners. I am interested in the history of the place and how's it's changed so if anyone has anything I'd be grateful to hear from you! My email is richardsonaaron@hotmail.com thanks!
I remember the old row of shops, loved them! Definitely has lost some charm now though. And when are they going to do something with the sunburnt arms?!
I would like to invite you to the opening meeting of the SAVE THE TEIGN ESTUARY TRAIL CAMPAIGN to be held on Monday 28th October at 7:000pm at Bitton House Teignmouth. It will be a facility which can be enjoyed by all, not only cyclists but ...
Perhaps we should send the politicians to prison so they can explain to the prisoners their decision in person?
@Don Yes naughty but couldn't resist. There's always Tor of course if you're prepared to risk the dark internet although it looks like NSA may even have hacked that when the Silkroad web-site was brought down.
Absolutely right b.o.liking. Churchill was stockpiling chemical weapons and considering their use in WW2 - see http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/like-assad-churchill-liked-to-stockpile-poison-gas-8876357.html US deployed agent orange during the Vietnam War - " Vietnam estimates 400,000 people were killed or maimed, and 500,000 children born with birth defects as a result of the use ...
Well done Octopushers!!
You mean the showcase or the improvement to the building? Don't know about the other building you mention but I'm happy to see the council retain and renovate it.
You'll all be pleased to know there were several arrests last night by the looks of it, didn't see any aggresiveness, but one chap in cuffs sat on a bench, and a copper with 2 others.
so it would seem Paul the answer to your question is, all that money spent on redevelopement has not made one iota of difference. Should have left it as it was
