Yes I agree, very good programme but only 20 minutes of it.Should have edited out the section on newquay and bath(i think it was bath), and had 10 minutes more. Pity about people that moan though. But it was good programme.
Well first of all when I read PSCO and Pettinelli I then began to read the first line and though what was she doing in Septemember around "1945" then reading again I realise it meant the time of day not era. It's a shame that youth, or anyone to that matter can see this as being fun. Thought being dark around that time I wonder how they were seen to be doing it, where they approached or waved off. ...

It was a truly memorable end to the Triathlon Season at Dawlish on Sunday for the N1 Tri Club and all the emphasis was on teamwork. The race was in fact a duathlon comprising of a 4km run followed by a 21 km cycle and finally a 5.8 km run as the rough sea meant swimming was unsafe. The club attended the race ‘gang handed’ and many individuals gave excellent performances. See more.. ...
BB check out your rights before you do anything don't rely on what someone on here tells you. Fred Bassett, the British may have won the war back then but who's winning it now and who's laughing at who. So really you want a company to pay £270 million to buy a business then give it to the British because we beat them in a playground fight 70 years ago. have you heard yourself ?
I can see some problems with that, bridges, tunnels etc and areas where the track is curved. The idea of a new line is to make it as straight as possible. the question if the line is worth the cost or spend the money elsewhere is very debateable.
Land subsidies - if this helps for example potato's in the uk currently fetch £265 a tonne average in holland £175, France £169, Belgium £162 without subsidies how much would those potato's be???? They have recently changed the subsidies and there are very few for bare land now the main subsidies are for land with crops, from 2014 landowners will have to prove they farm or they will lose their ...
Holiday makers have gone home so now they have to fight for a reduced trade
Please be aware of the adverse weather, the dip by The Smugglers is flooded and also other areas around Dawlish. These have been reported and hopefully should be getting sorted. Please drive at a sensible speed and increase your breaking distances.
An update on what's happening at Dawlish Community College. See more... http://www.dawlish.devon.sch.uk/news/
I believe he has a shop in town , which is now closing down
The difference is that many homes down here were bought by people already resident in the UK full time. In some parts of London (various Boroughs have this problem, there is no "Borough of London", there are Boroughs that make up London) homes are being marketed abroad "off plan" before other parts of the developments are then marketed in the UK. This is inflating the prices that are paid and ...

Very naughty of the Gazette. You'd think they get their facts right. Surely they tried to get a quote from the school. Hope they won't doing "Eye of Dawlish" journalism! ;p
@Mcjrpc I will most certainly be keeping everyone up to date on what happens. I've deliberately avoided giving a running commentary on the ideas posted here as I don't think that helps. I'd much rather read other people's ideas. As for the TCM, yes still very much in place. If you want to email me on mclay1990@gmail.com I'd be happy to pass on any messages.
Was Devon County Council part owners of Exeter Airport until sold to Sir Peter Rigby for an "undisclosed fee"
Well they've reneged on Dementia Care Homes promises and now Sheltered Housing: http://www.exeterexpressandecho.co.uk/Elderly-residents-claim-paying/story-19818755-detail/story.html As part of the 'Stepping Down' programme who is going to be hit next by this short-sighted Devon County Council Programme?
@DJ , I totally agree, 650 MPs is stupidly high. For example, Plymouth has 3 MPs, each of them doing nothing, so why not just have one MP doing for Plymouth instead?
We should all have these stickers.

Pardon the intrusion. We are holding our third Macmillan coffee morning on Friday 27th September 2013, as well as giving our profits away for the day(a bit mad for a coffee shop) we will have a raffle and a bottle stall to try and boost the funds. It's difficult to keep asking for raffle prizes but if anyone can donate a bottle of anything for the bottle stall we would be most grateful. You can ...
Paul Its not that i am against holliday makers its just we pay some of the highest utilities in the country so folk can come here and enjoy themselves. It only seems fair that they make a contribution, i have also paid local tax in Spain and Portugal i wonder if other countries have local tax for camp sites.
Rain or shine, a walk on Dawlish beach is lovely.
To even up any comments about USA bashing these bloody Russians should remember the Arctic convoys and the people that died getting supplies through. from this small country.Arms and food we could have well done with here. Bloody cheeky Commi Ba----ds We should NOT be reliant on our so called friends as we don't have any. The sooner M.P's realise this the better.
It was very enjoyable to see Charlie Stait (not sure of the spelling of his surname) make the odious IDS squirm this morning on ITV.
