Its what the Tories do throw a few pennies to the workers who then believe there getting a good deal Smoke and Mirrors.
Be reasonable, how else do you expect the 'five richest ('hard working!') families' to maintain their status of equal to bottom 20%?
I thought Ed was leader of the labour party/oppostion, not shadow chancellor of the exchequer. Anyway, as for his " response" to the budget, well I hate to say it but Ed Balls could have done so much better. He obviously does not trust Ed Balls. I give Ed 1 out of 10.
Smoke and mirrors people you are going to lose in the cuts to come more than he has given you. You ain't seen nothing yet.
Older savers seem to have done okay out of it. That's the age group by the way that's more likely to vote than any other age group. It is also the age group where most of UKIPs votes are found. Lots of older people in the south west.
Note also in the picture below which was tweeted out by the Conservatives yesterday after the budget statement that the wording at the bottom is "to help hard working people do more of the things they enjoy".
Oh dear where to start on that? Well for starters why use the word 'they' and not the word 'we'?
@Lynne - tweeted by 'the conservatives' - please, please tell me it was someone having a laugh and not actually endorsed by party officials?
@Clive - Grant Shapps (Chairman of the Conservative Party) tweeted it. In the tweet he specifically asked for it to be retweeted in order to get the message out. Well, I think the message has been gotten out alright but maybe not quite the message he had in mind.

So there you have it - comprehensively self outed.
This may now be white washed as a mistake etc etc, but it would never had happened in the first place if some tiny little arragant brain cells weren't quietly firing along these lines on a regular basis in the first place.
For me, crase use of the 'they' word is not particularly new news, it's the clarification of the who and what 'hardworking people' means to cons. that's new to me.
'David' has two clear cut options - sack him immediately, or loss any hope of a majority win.
Just remember who was working in the treasury and bought in a change to the tax laws when labour hit the personal pensions of the working man for three billion pounds a year. A politician named Ed Balls.
...and that's just another reason why I prefer to consider myself a 'floating voter' ... only way to have any leverage at all
Lord Tebbits remarks that people using food banks are in fact spending their money on junk food he is a typical tory when he speaks he insults and humiliates many neady people with his ignorant comments.
