Perhaps there's a Dawlish hum, like the Bristol hum.
Just seen the following post on the BBC Facebook page... >>>>> An incident occurred in a supermarket recently, when the following was witnessed: A Muslim woman dressed in a Burkha (A black gown & face mask) was standing with her shopping in a queue at the checkout. When it was her turn to be served, and as she re ached the cashier, she made a loud remark about the English Flag lapel pin, which the ...
To date have not contributed to this discussion on the grounds that Im not sure of the answer to the tittle question. What I do not think is correct however is that its all the governments fault. If people lived within their means and didnt burden the social state with all their daily needs pehaps the government wouldnt have to borrow £1.2 billion every year to bail them out The social benifits ...
ROBERTA, Christmas has been a feast of indulgence ever since the High Middle Ages. Have a peaceful and happy one.
Dont you find it comforting that we have a nuclear deterant and the means to launch and deliver it with a certain degree of accuracy, you know just in case. Beware the nutters were all mad you know
@willosindawlish - couldn't have said it better myself.
Sorry OLD FART , forgot to mention there are three planned. as I understand , but the dignitaries have waived their respective fees on one of them though. Sorry FredBassett also, but that was a condition imposed by TDC on canine rights grounds. Nothing I can do on that one.
From what was taken I would say it certainly wasn't kids.
Well,what happened??????
@Mrs C - thankyou for such a speedy reply to my question. I wouldn't say that your posts caused me any upset. as is the nature of these type of forums, it adds spice to have a wide range of people inputting into the discussions. As to your confusion over freedom of speech within the participants on this site. I fear that one persons definition of freeom of speech may not be anothers!
Sad to see so many staff have been ill. Mr Hedden in particular who is a fantastic teacher and worked wonders for my child's grades.
Hi guys, Thanks for the posts re our webcam. I am Jamie Rowley, an administrator on Railcam, and can only echo the sadness of the news that we are to lose the location in January. We are looking at every option to save the cam, including contacting various parties via Twitter and general appeals via both Facebook and Twitter. I am not the technological brains behind the operation, but a brief ...
I don't care Fred, I'm a mad psythopath and I'm in here. Eastern Europeans tomorrow.
@Libby . I must say i'm a little chuffed that you would put me in third place to Ayatollah Khomenei and Ghengis Khan I can't think of any better company in this day and age to get rid of all the lame and limp that bog down this once great country. Oh, shame you missed out good old Adolf.
Blah, Blah, Blah....... I thought the Xbox one was an expensive Christmas present !
During the summer the Starcross road can be very slow and the road up to Countess Wear gets busy at peak times but it's probably the most direct route in terms of distance. I vary it. Luscombe Hill, Ashcombe Road and Mamhead Woods are all very picturesque routes but with the first two you sometimes have to reverse to let oncoming traffic pass in the narrow lanes.
Great idea Don. And for those who are more interested in compassion for others, have a look at this short video-clip which explores the concept of "emotional correctness": http://www.ted.com/talks/sally_kohn_let_s_try_emotional_correctness.html
This one should suit you perfectly then Mrs C. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2523787/Inside-British-university-Muslims-segregated-sex-Shocking-picture-shows-men-reserved-row-seats-women-sit-back.html

@Lynne , Please feel free to debate any subject. I didn't remove Paul's thread because of the subject matter, but because of Paul's comments. It would be the same, for example, if you had posted the links you have with racist comments, but you haven't.
This from Anne Marie Morris on Twitter: "I will ensure that I do not personally benefit from any MP pay rise after 2015. Independently set & cannot be justified."
An elderly lady has been hit by a car at the entrance of Sandly Lane. The traffic had been diverted but now back to normal. The ambulance took a while to arrive, the doctors that arrived just after said the delay was due to a busy night. They are all still there. Hope the lady will be o.k.
Just noticed, it will be 16 days between black bin emptyings over the Christmas period. That really is a rubbish collection.

Bigger stickers with different wording and an admission from the TDC licencing officer Haley Carpenter that both the flag and the wording were at issue. Enid Blyton's books are just old fashioned. My children didn't enjoy them and chose not to read them themselves, I wouldn't have banned them. There are so many good children's books these days and so much choice. I just wish they'd stop nannying us. We're getting to the point we won't be allowed to think for ourselves.
Good old limp politicains hiding their backbones again.
This could be interesting for car owners. Just announced formally - at last. Consultation open until 14th February 2014 https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/local-authority-parking
was it not available for parking before the Strand re-developement? Only loading bay was outside the Coop, that is still there. And I think you will find Stokes/Lloyd Maunders do have their deliveries early morning
some of these stories are beyond belief
Possibly, but the wrong end of the estate and not "hundreds" - but surely a genuine misunderstanding.
