Red Rock Cafe
The Red Rock cafe closed since the storms will open on Tuesday 1st July. Sue and Andy offer everyone a warm welcome
The best news I've seen locally for ages. Can't wait to be able to go down to Coryton and not have to take my own food and drink. May I ask how this is going to be achieved in 7 days?
The Red Rock Cafe is at Dawlish Warren - best Eccles Cakes in town
Unfortunately closed since the Great Storm
I foresee more dog walks in that direction :)
The beach huts should also be back by the third week of July but replacement of Rock Pool Cafe won't start until January.
Oops, I saw the word "Rock" and got really excited and so got completely mixed up there lol. Apologies. I can't understand why Red Rock Cafe is taking so long to re-open, but that's another story altogether...
Never mind the Eccles cakes I am going for the bread pudding. Welcome back We missed you last Sunday on our walk to the warren.

The section between Coastguard steps and Black Bridge (Rockstone Flats) is still closed, but otherwise it is completely open now between Dawlish and the Warren
I was pleased to see last night that repairs are well underway at Boat Cove on the breakwater. I am told that the remains of the Rock Pool cafe will be cleared next week, and the replacement beach huts will be installed mid July.
