Your views are important and will decide what happens next.
Yet another, erm shall we say, "late night" rant from Councillor Swift. Wasn't Friday's consultation event until 8pm??
Yes. Yes I do. Could you please confirm the finish time of last Fridays consultation event?
We who organised the displays chose three consecutive days at the end of a week, with one (friday) staying open till 8pm for those at daytime work, and the last one (Staurday) 10-5pm so that anyone working away five days could still get to see the material on Saturday. Hope that helps.
Of course, however one tries to advertise and publicise there will be some who miss'open days' . Our answer has been to leave some of the drawings on the www.dawlish.gov.uk website, and the opportunity to access the comments sheets from there.
For anyone who has missed seeing the proposals and has the time to come to St Mary's Hall in the outer car park at Dawlish Warren, we will be there tomorrow Tuesday from 10am -5pm.
Thanks Bob. Really it was a rhetorical question in response to Councillor Swift's diatribe, however thanks for the full response for the benefit of those who might have taken her misleading statement as being the truth.
What is misleading about saying I work for an employer? I do! What is misleading about saying those who work for employers do not necessarily have the flexibility or luxury to attend these consultations during the day? They don't! Clearly Mrs C you completely misunderstood my post!
Haha. Nice one Councillor. We all know you were having a snidey dig at these consultation events - insinuating that they were timed so that people wouldn't be able to attend. Which is really bizarre given that the organisers clearly want as many people to attend as possible, so that they can see the facts rather than the scaremongering put about by the likes of you and the local newspaper.
