Sandy Lane hedge 002

Is this a new fashion, or a half price hedge cut.

Does this not just reflect the half hearted effort the local council has adopted around Dawlish i.e rubbish, weeds, general state of the town during holiday season! I wouldn't mind so much if they dropped the rates by 50% or their wages or both.

Hedges cut by machine need to be done from both sides if there isn't access to the other side then thats how it stays obvious really.

It doesn't usually look like this, maybe the contractors were in a rush.

Bring back the boy's who used to keep the whole of the park etc in tip top condition and i bet their wages was no where near as much as these contractors.

Rates council tax in my opinion is far to low in order to maintain the services we have in the UK, I for one have suggested a significant increase in both council tax & busineaa rates and yes I do pay both.

I for one would be more than wiling to pay an exta 25%

Though i also feel income tax should be higher

If Dawlish United did not give permission for them to enter the ground this could be the reason it wasnt done. Or maybe its Dawlish Uniteds responsibility

@roberta

I don't think it's anything to do with Dawlish United, the Marine bowling is on the other side and is seperated with a fence.
