DCC have agreed to suspend on street parking charges in Dawlish at weekends until the end of the month.

This is in response to a request from the Chamber of Trade to help local shops and cafés whilst the train line is down.

Please be aware that this does not apply to the car parks.  These are free on Sundays until the end of the month anyway, but on Saturdays charges still apply.

It should be free all year round like Newton Abbot

I suppose better late than never.
