Anybody else had one from Anne-Marie Morris? ok until you get to the last question " what are the chances of you voting for each of the following parties " ? I thought that was the idea of the ballot box

The whole point of  a secret ballot is that it's secret.

I was wondering who is paying for all this and how much it is costing 'em.

Dunno about anyone else but this is the second lot of post from the Conservatives that has come through my door in as many months. Are these letters going out to all aged 17+ in the constituency? And then don't forget there is a reply paid envelope enclosed with each questionnaire sent out.

So where's the dosh coming from? Is this happening in every Tory constituency or just in Tory marginals like this one?

Just received our survey - definitely propaganda.

@Lynne - good question.  who has paid for this.  it gives the impression that it's an "official" survey from our mp so have we, the taxpayers, paid for it?  hopefully not.

Lynne      Everybody got one and it has to be either paid for by Conservative central office or the tax payer send madam a Email and ask she wont reply to me so there's no point me asking.

@Clive - believe you said on another thread that you live in the West Cornwall parliamentary constituency of Truro and Falmouth. I've just read that the Tory MP there only won by 435 votes over the Lib Dem in 2010. That right? In that case you are in a Tory marginal 'n all. You getting any of these Tory residents' surveys like we're getting here?

@Lynne - yes, yes and no.  i have a 'no junk mail' on my letter box - so cannot say for sure.

I'll ask my neighbours.

Politicians just can't win can they?  If they ask for an opnion then they're being intrusive and nosy, if they don't ask then it means they don't care!  It's better to be asked for an opinion, then choose not to give it than not to be asked at all.
