Both Torbay and Southern Devon Health and Care NHS Trust, which runs 11 community hospitals stretching from Tavistock to Dawlish, as well as South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Torbay Hospital, took part in the patient-led PLACE assessments.

Whatever failings there are in the NHS, to have a community hospital like the Dawlish one on our doorstep should never be taken for granted.   The minor injury and physio units have been a godsend to me in both quality and time. 

Totally agree and hope that the privatisation-creep within the NHS gets reversed once the Westminster axis of evil is kicked out next May. 

Agree.  Dawlish hospital is a fantastic place and the staff extremely caring.
