General Discussion

Would it be possible to have two discussion forums please?  One for national politics and another for local issues.

I suggest an additional one  where we can have some fun,. The supplies have dried up of late.

How about several to cover :- local, national, E.U.  and world. That way we might get a more varied number of participants and more indepth discussions? I agree with elvis that things have become a little dull and to serious of late on the site.

@michaelclayson, I will have a think about this. We used to have separate forum sections for politics, the council and holiday information, but people still posted everything in the general section.

the reason we are always talking politics is that it has a effect on folk, look back at postings that are placed around local issues there is very little interest the truth is nowt worth talking about goes on in dawlish. but if @michaelclayson thinks there is something interesting going on that we would all like to talk about then post it.

I totally agree that national politics is important, and didn't in any way criticise the fact that people choose to post on these issues

My feeling is that this site is losing its identity as a forum for local discussion too, and for that reason I just wonder if it might be better to have two separate fora so that people can access either or both as their interests dictate.

Bring back SMELLA !
