Last I heard (but I've been away for a few days) one was sat one by mum and the other two vanished overnight. If I find out more then I'll post it.

The Fair pays money to Teignbridge Council for the use of the Lawn - it would be interesting to know how much goes back into the repair of the Lawn or even if any of it comes back to Dawlish at all. It really annoys me that if you want to hold a charitable event on the Lawn there are loads of conditions to be met, including no burger vans etc yet a commercial venture like the fair can do what ...

Jambuster - how on earth can you be indoctrinated at a Town council meeting? They're not the Moonies for goodness sake, moast of them are just a bunch of retired people with good (maybe sometimes misguided) intentions trying to do their best for the town they live in! Or perhaps they are all the spawn of Satan, should we look for 666 under their foundation garments!!! Get a grip.
