If you like art there's an amazing exhibition on in St Michaels Church (Teignmouth) until 12th August.  Some really powerful pieces.  Reason I've posted here is that there's a piece called "Walls" which is of Dawlish sea front and the beauty of Lyme Bay.  You'll have to see it to understand the sub-caption which is "So why do people choose the captivity of TV?"  If you don't know Teignmouth well ...

Also there's a blue moon this month - 31st August.  I think the last one was about 3 years ago.  So for all those without a love of your own, keep watching ..........

Linked-in is like a business version fo Facebook.  It's been around for years and basically lets you keep in contact with business associates/contacts.  There are a number of specialist groups for specific business areas.

Seems to be open mon to sat around 9ish to 5 ish, (apart from auction days), and they are open to offers without waiting for the actual auction.

I think Paul and his wife most probably know all this, but in todays world you have to do all sorts of checks with agents to get a sniff of a property. This is why he his trying the direct approach as my brother did, but the only way you find these places is through word of mouth

The maths is correct. The Strongvox site plan shows a total of 30 affordable homes (may be 31 if I miscounted), whilst Sovereign Living's website is showing 5 shared ownership homes still available (there must have been 15 originally available, as 10 have been snapped up).

Not sure what purpose was served by posting this at 8.20pm!!! The road was clear by 5.45pm!!!  I really hope though that the mess left behind by the torrent is cleared up sooner rather than later.

Yep was flippant, to be honest the car has sensors on everything, brakes, oil water tyre pressure, I was merely trying to make a point that I check my bike a lot and I like most people don't check our cars very often at all. Carer, f arts aren't too bad it's when you get someone with BO that's a killer.
