Just seen the huge peices of tree trunks being carted of to wherever. Might have been nice to seem them turned into carvings to display on the lawn?

My  source on the council tells that they have taken them, "To put them in a tree museum." No prizes for guessing how much it will cost just to see 'em.

Just done a quick search for a tree museum in the uk, without any joy. Wonder if they offered Dawlish musuem something?!

I believe you will find all trees felled with the Horse Chestnut fungal problems have to be burnt

I think this was the Oak in Ziggys picture it was lopped and now it has been cut down completely
