I agree - I am hanging around with my digital camera in the hope of catching him in the act. I will contact the Town Clerk too - maybe if enough people do they will start to take notice. I think the Dawlish Post could run a story on it too esp in the light of the number of posters on here defending the practice.

People SHOULD be named and shamed rather than protected. A picture displayed .. bring back the old stocks or just something where people can really humilate an offender.

Apparently this Tesco store in Teignmouth will be open from 6.am to midnight, 7 days a week. Residents of Dawlish - BE WARNED!

There were a few mentions on here about Betfred not needed. I guess it is used though. No complaints that HSBC Bank left Dawlish and as you know Barclays Bank pulled out ages ago. By the way is good Boots do 'Midnight Pharmacy' they had a right battle to get prescriptiosn didnt they.

Nikki .. I order online once a month, once you have had a delivery they regularly email and offer you a £5 off when you spend £50 or more. The delivery charge is £3.99 if you select a daytime slot. I think its easier online as so many people round the stores and I only buy online what I need so less spend. Am sure one day people will wonder why people wanted big stores when you can shop at home.

I don't think its as good as it used to be, there are getting a little tired everywhere and predictable. I know hours of work goes into setting it up. About five years ago there was a good music festival on the lawn. I agree .. they are so sad with the noisy exhaust and think they are so clever. Should not be allowed on the road until 21. Taxi drivers are also a law until themselves, I have seen them doing U turns and why do so many over the pavement to park ? It would be good if there could be speed cameras that would take the number plate and there could be funded by the penalties received.. would be many!

Why is it only the West Counrty have this awful obsession with 'outsiders'? Well said ! You know people can always say to the Estate Agent .. 'I do not want to sell at that high price, sell it for less'. I was in Sussex last week, houses are more expensive there than Dawlish. I see there is a shop in the middle of town for sale, a chance for a local in Dawlish to set up something you keep wanting? .. but then they will miss it, as you say they are sat in the pub lol.

No he's right. We are the only people posting on here apart from the odd flurry from bored teenagers now and again. There must be something in the Dawlish air which stifles debate - or even life. Have you noticed that all the letters in the Dawlish Post are from people in Teignmouth? Thats cos no one in Dawlish writes letters to the paper either. No doubt someone will say its sad to post on here ...
