This sounds very much like a para Military
group to me. If you want to play war games, go join the army young lad, leave this sort of thing to the professionals. I used to live in belfast in my youth and these sort of groups used to be all over the place, does nothing but cause harm in my experience, same thing, former Military personal teaching civis "how to" very dangerous. Plus the fact the terrorists we need to be defended against are the politicians who mug us every day. I have read your posts on here a few times, so I decided to visit your site, what I saw I found a little disturbing, men posing with guns ? what the hell is that all about. Just how well equiped do you think you "really" are to defend against a real terrorist, when even the SAS get killed by them, like I said, leave it to the professionals and get a life for god's sake, take up knitting, crossword puzzles, something that will keep you and all of us out of harms way.

Thank you for your comments regarding the training, Not sure if you have noticed recently but knife, gun and terrorist attacks are on the up. I am not an ex-military guy.

This system is a modern day self defence programme which teaches people real life attacks on the streets & travel. When it comes to defending your self why not have that extra knowledge of protecting your self and love ones. I agree what your saying about leaving things like this to the professionals but this system gives you the confidence. How would you have felt if you had been on holiday aboard that flight when the attacks on 911 happened and had taken this training?? it would have helped a great deal on how to cope. Plus the attack in Scotland last year. This is a hobby of mine and i choose to do and teach it. So far students have learnt so much more about self defence, not just blocking and kicking but other real life situations.

Thank you anyway, regarding your comments, but each to their own hey.

I think you misunderstood about thr ex-Military, the person you refer to on your site as I recall is a chat called Jim Wagner, who is ex-Military, it is obvious from your site that you are not. The reason I used to reside in Belfast was because my father was an officer in the British Army. I am sure you mean well, just be careful, as I say, I have seen this sort of thing develop into much more, the black shirts and clothing on your site, reminded me of Oswold Mosley and his Nazi group during the second world war.

It's hardly a Nanzy group.

Were just like any other martial art out their, it's not all about the terrorism stuff. We do womens survival, crime survival, knife survival etc etc etc.

OK, I have spent a little time doing some research, more than I care to to be honest, so I am going to make one last post and leave it at that, I am almost 60, run my own small building firm and frankly, do not have the time for these forums (plus it annoys the wife). Now, I have visited your site and from my view, it could almost be percived as not just anti terror, but anti Muslim, I see no asian or black people in pictures or video's, add to that the black outfits you wear, the badge with a gun and a granade on it (which I frankly find a little disturbing) You also name Osama Bin Laden as the most danerous man in the world, I think we are all more that aware, that it is George W. Bush and not Bin Laden (95,000 civilian deaths by american and allied forces, Bin Laden could never kill that many). I also see that one of your people Pete Lee is a police officer, I would like to know his superiors opinion on what he is doing, teaching this sort of tactics to civilians, and I mean theirs, not the one he would give on their behalf i.e. playing with guns etc (which as we all know are outlawed in this country). There is a saying that goes "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing" and I just feel that this is what you are doing here. But good luck and just be careful.

AS it happens i have asian and blacks in the classes, its not all about terrorism as i keep saying. The black t-shirts are like a uniform in some kind of way, no different than a martial art school wearing pyjamas.

Pete Lee is a police office and trainer for the force. Jim's system is what they now train in for Devon and Cornwall police.

The bit you mentioned about Osama Bin Laden is based on the video coming out with Morgan Spurlock in. He trained with Jim for a few months to prepair him for the film. The footage is on the site under news.

Yuor see from the footage what we do then.

Also, i have had ITV westcountry interested in what we do, as your see by teh video on the site.

Take care

I don't think that other Martial Arts schools would be too impressed with you referring to their uniforms a pyjamas, I have done a bit of Judo and I remember it was called a GI, I think your comment a little rude. You say in your profile that you have do other Martial Arts, so where is the "respect" that I felt when I was studying Judo all those years ago, I only got to green belt, but the instructor would never make shyd comments about other schools as I recall.

I agree with Old gent
Why would us ordinary citizens want or need to know about anti terrorism procedures surely thats for thoses who are employed to protect us.
Or are we all going to be part of the goverments police force.
Why in Dawlish do we need these classes is it to subdue anyone smoking in a pub or throwing a bit of littler on the ground. We arent exactly a magnet forterrorist activity.
Its a subtle way of making us think there is a terrorist around every corner, and when the goverment brings in more measures to restrict our freedom, we will of course obey or when they want to invade yet another country we will be behind them

We had no threat of terror since trouble in Ireland untill with Bush this country invaded Iraq where as Old Gent stated more people have died since Sadam and now that the extremist are gaining ground people have less rights. I say fetch our lads and lasses home they should respected for what they do because they have no choice in the matter and those who have died have done so needlessly
