The planning committee at Teignbridge District Council is known as the Development Control Committee. It is made up of cllrs who represent wards throughout the district of Teignbridge. Dawlish needs good PR to "talk it up". Hence Waitrose better than Sainsbury, Sainsbury better than Tesco, Tesco better than Somerfield, Somerfield better than Aldi & Lidl. Get the picture?

Suggest you ask Tesco and Sainsbury that very question. (That is of course if they turn up......... I am awaiting to see what excuse(s) both will find for bottling out of attending.)

Just a reminder - the public meeting planned for this evening (Friday 11th Jan) at Dawlish Community College has been CANCELLED. It is hoped to reschedule it for sometime in February.
