What is the actual problem with housing availability in the country for those who earn a low wage! They do not earn enough to have a large enough deposit for a mortgage and/or pay for the mortgage and house prices continue to increase. @ZIGGY - i would assume from the evidence that it was the council, or should i say the cheapest sub contractor they employed through the bid system for contracts. This Appeal was on the Agenda at last week's Dawlish Town Council planning committee meeting where it was Resolved that: "Secmaton Lane must not be used for any construction traffic or any access to new houses".

MAJOR expansion plans for a 'healthcare hub' for Dawlish and Teignmouth have been given the green light. Barton Surgery in Dawlish has been given permission to expand its site in Barton Terrace by Teignbridge Council planners. Nice walk to the Warren this morning but no Red Rock or viaduct cafe open and it's a bank holiday! As I said in another post. I have waited up to half an hour or more trying to get through to 101 to advise police of certain situations. I think many that have given the police info in the past are sick and tired of paying to call 101 and rarely getting through.

Did the person who called the police about this call 101 and if so how long did they have to wait for it to be answered!
