To DogsRGR8. What did you see wrong with my post that I would want a medal. I was commenting that now I have a puppy It is more obvious that a lot of people do NOT pick up after their dogs. In fact walking up the Strand yesterday there were two big piles of poop on the pavement outside the travel agents, of which had been walked in by some unsuspecting person. Thanks Flo.

Police say a World War Two mortar has washed up at the beach in Teignmouth. Its in the sea near the lighthouse.  Apparently it was live, had no fuse and they've taken it away to detonate safely. Happened to be walking along the seawall at Teignmouth this a.m. and was surprised to see so many campervans along the road parallel to the seawall. I've seen quiet a few over the years, but never counted over 20 at one time. Must be some sort of campervan club visit.
