After reading the link it would seem the developers handed over nearly half a million pounds to Teignbridge council in 2015 to open up a green area as requested under the SANGS agreement. If this is the case why was there an issue with people moving in to the homes if it was the council who had not set aside the land? From what I have read Redrow had satisfied there side of the agreement. Where is ...

DJ is right, of course, about withheld numbers. Even Barton Surgery's calls come up as that.
I agree with what you say, but a squeaky wheel will get oil sooner or later. The email address's for the relevent contacts are listed in this post just keep sending email's or calling the 101 number the police will soon get the idea IF enough people call or send a message if you have problems in your area. Don't let Dawlish go down the toilet, I know some would say that it is already.

OK Poseidon .
DURING my time as a Member of Parliament it has become increasingly apparent to me health and social care provision in rural areas like Teignbridge are not well structured or funded to meet our needs. I pay a huge tribute to those involved in this care who go very much more than the extra mile. I am always pleased to be invited, as I was again this year, to the annual meeting of Volunteering in ...
Did anyone on this thread actually make a FOI request? I would have hoped that if they had, then they'd have shared the outcome with us all.
A TORBAY man stole a car and used it to ram-raid units on an industrial estate in Dawlish a court has been told. He and an unknown accomplice then drove to the Daihatsu Fourtrak to the Black Swan industrial estate in Dawlish and rammed the roller doors of three units, stealing tools and causing damage of more than £1,000. You never see a police officer from one week to the next, and then all of a sudden there are two!

It's only been a year since the Red Arrows last displayed at Dawlish... Hopefully the Reds will be back again next year as part of OUR fantastic Carnival.

Love the idea of a no parking bollard, where can I buy one?
It has continued to be raised with Network Rail by Dawlish Town Council (Civic Amenities Committee) and I will report any news as I get it.
I do have concerns about housing being built on grade 1 agricultural land. I also have concerns about housing being built without the necessary infrastructure being in place. I have concerns about not enough Affordable rental Housing (AH= rents of 80% or less of market level) being built. And I have great concerns about the impact of the 2016 Housing and Planning Act and how that will negatively ...
This country unlike other countries does not take litter seriously enough. There should be huge fines, In Singapore you would be in big trouble. Also Wellington in NZ is immaculate.

Thanks Carer We're taking delivery of the marquee and all sorts today, we just need everyone to keep their fingers crossed for good weather!
I can think of a lot better places to walk than round a car park.
@Daverc - me too, but knowing my luck the dog would most probably go for me as well.
Shame they couldn't find a British based firm to carry out the work rather than one based in the Netherlands. (before MV barks up - I am aware they have offices in the U.K.) Is the '50 year project' to just study the cliff areas between Dawlish and Teignmouth and the line between Newton Abott and Exeter? It seems a lot of time for such a project.
