The Tory governement aren't going to support the same areas as the EU. There was a reason why these areas got their funding from the EU in the first place!
Conservative MP for Central Devon, Mel Stride has a very interesting article on page 10 of the Dawlish Gazette. He campaigned for Remain. I never thought I would say this but.............I do so agree with what he says. More than that. I have e-mailed him telling him that I agree with him. (!). Do read the article.
Two whistleblowers in the "LuxLeaks" tax scandal were given suspended jail sentences on Wednesday for leaking thousands of documents that exposed Luxembourg's huge tax breaks for major international companies... The documents revealed the huge tax breaks that tiny EU nation Luxembourg offered international firms including Apple, IKEA and Pepsi, at a time when Jean-Claude Juncker , now head of the ...
Say we have 20 million households to give this million to that would cost 20,000,000 x 1,000,000 = 20,000,000,000,000. That is 20000 billion! The majority of the country would have no incentive to work if they had a million pounds in the bank also suddenly the cost of things would go up etc. It is a crazy idea :-)
The only winners I see at the moment Margaret are Iceland.
since this thread has clearly gone off topic, i will close it. @b.o.liking please feel free to start a new thread.
People keep going on about Corbyn being unelectable but I don't see any Tory MP who I think could lead the country and lead us through these difficult times. I am sure not any will have those who voted to leave's best interests at heart when negotiating our departure from the EU. Unless someone comes through suddenly I don't see Johnson, Osbourne or May as that person. There is already ...

The LibDems were massacred at the last general election and now have only seven MPS, to put this kind of foolishness in their manifesto will see their number drop to zero. But that's the LibDems for you, utterly irrelevant.

How weird, I assume Mrs C is referring to me but I am not sure who she thinks I am or what I do. I think my comment above is apt and needs to be urgently put in place!
It won't make a difference they said, we will be better off they said, we will prosper they said, businesses won't leave they said, we won't f*** you over they said ... sorry, they didn't say that last one!
Also, there are many of our more experienced, senior, skilled workers who have not been able to get on to building sites due to the current constraints around CSCS cards which for some require apprenticeship or NVQ which after 30+ years of doing and running some of these jobs is and has been an insult. So, most of these individuals have either changed occupation, gone into early retirement or just ...

TDC knew about the breach of the S106 condition before it was reported in the Gazette (and I definitely know that for a fact). I've just gotten back from Donald Trump land so when I've gotten over my jet lag and we have all gotten over the referendum I'll probably drop TDC another email to see what they say about the enforcement. I did wonder to myself if Redrow had suspended the selling of their ...

six years in Langdon for trying to hold a conversation with a Duck. Mind you its probably not as bad as trying to get the truth out of TDC
So on reading todays Gutsache is seems Redrow have deliberaly tried to pull a fast one on Teignbridge and are now seeking discussions to talk their way out of their SANGS responsibility. Meanwhile the fence sitters at TDC are trying to blame Richard Weeks for not selling them his farm. Now if this had been you, me, or any other man in the street TDC would have been to court got an enforcement ...

Who cares about the financial implications of leaving, the biggest effect will be on the EU side in any case. Just look at all the near bankrupt countries they are going to have to back up in the future, Greece, Spain, Italy etc. It will be the Euro that ultimatly fails, not the Pound. The biggest and most impotant issue with leaving will be a closing of the gates and the return to a closed UK ...

The sacrifice and bravery of our forefathers in the battle to free Europe from a murderous regime will be forever in our hearts, despite the passing of the years. It is only natural to ponder what those who are no longer with us would have thought was the right thing to do for the ongoing security of our country. Victory in Europe should be remembered as that point in history when this country was ...
