@ Stephen It was piblished in the local freebie paper on Friday April 1st and featured an artists impression of a lovely new train cutting across Teignmouth Golf course.

Newton Abbot Police have warned of males asking for money in the Newton Abbot area, similar to the incidents experienced in Teignmouth and Dawlish. The males, in their early 20's are giving false stories and stating they require money for a bus/taxi. Stories include, they have recently split from their partner and need money for a bus. I'm surprised that there has only been 2 objections to this request for change of use to dwelling. It is a larger site than Mr Stone presenently has an appeal open on for land adjoining that has plans for 2 detached houses. I cannot see Mr Stone settling for 'A' dwelling on this rather more substanstial plot. I would assume 1) change of use to dwelling, 2) application for 2  dwellings or more! I ...

AN INQUEST has opened into the death of a woman who was found dead in the sea at Dawlish Coroner Ian Arrow was told that the cause of death for Mrs Moors was that she had drowned and that there were no suspicious circumstances. The festival launches on April 1 at St Gregory's Church, when walkers will be able to join one of two performances of 'The Dawlish Dawdle of April Fools'. Quite simply, roberta, I don't think it fair that certain sections of society get stung with inordinately high taxes when others pay little, or no tax at all.

I'm positive there's people who can do this.  David Force seems to be involved and I think perfectly capable, especially with the enthusiasm of the town behind him.  I think to say that people in Dawlish have little knowledge of how to organise something like this is putting down what a lot of people do and used to do in their work lives as well as involvement with other events.
