Newton Abbot Police have warned of males asking for money in the Newton Abbot area, similar to the incidents experienced in Teignmouth and Dawlish. The males, in their early 20's are giving false stories and stating they require money for a bus/taxi. Stories include, they have recently split from their partner and need money for a bus. I'm surprised that there has only been 2 objections to this request for change of use to dwelling. It is a larger site than Mr Stone presenently has an appeal open on for land adjoining that has plans for 2 detached houses.
