In my opinion it is the league who needs to be fined not the swimming clubs. It was their actions that caused the issue in the first place not the swimming clubs. It would seem the League is salivating over the chance of making £2500 in fines for their own incompetence, that's my feeling.

I would bet it's a fair chance it will be a bookies because there is no need to change the use as it was a bank it comes under the same usage, The first, second and roof space were changed to 5 flats,I assume, after the 2012 planning application was granted on planning application 12/00537/ful.

How come other towns ie. St. Ives Weston super mare and others have sucessfully intoduced a ban on alcohol in the streets, why is Dawlish so against this? To DogsRGR8. What did you see wrong with my post that I would want a medal. I was commenting that now I have a puppy It is more obvious that a lot of people do NOT pick up after their dogs. In fact walking up the Strand yesterday there were two big piles of poop on the pavement outside the travel agents, of which had been walked in by some unsuspecting person. Thanks Flo.

Police say a World War Two mortar has washed up at the beach in Teignmouth. Its in the sea near the lighthouse.  Apparently it was live, had no fuse and they've taken it away to detonate safely.
