THE MAIN road into Dawlish from Starcross is currently blocked after a two car collision this morning which has left five elderly people injured. We will never know if different decisions would have been made if all the grant applications had gone to a full F&GP meeting where there would have been more time to explore them fully. The grants were all tabled as late items at a council meeting which already had a packed agenda. I did suggest that the F&GP meeting could be brought forward but for reasons unknown this did not ...

More to it than that,  Ivan was provoked by a bully. culminating in the attack. Not excusing violence, but shouldn't judge until all facts are known. Ivan is a good man and this is devastating for him. Hope thevictimwill think twice before bullying anyone else.

Recently a local businessmen from Dawlish was contacted via telephone from a male claiming to be a High Court Sherriff who was waiting to go into court for an unpaid bill of £3k for advertising. The company was reported to be owed money for advertising his business over the internet.

He was a sweetheart and will be missed. RIP Les

Hi Mrs C We are, we stopped off there last Easter Sunday after struggling to find somewhere to eat that would sit 6 , of us the food was very good and the service was outstanding. My Grandsons have requested to try it again. They are really looking forward to our annual Easter trip of karting, ice-cream and as many treats as they can sneak past each grown-up. I've heard today from Devon County that due to problems with the supply of precast concrete units for the new wall, the work on site has had to be pushed back until week commencing 13 April. Some advance work, mainly vegetation clearance, should be commencing on Monday   (23rd March)
