A NEW chairman for Teignbridge Council has been elected.
Cllr Graham Price was elected unanimously by members of the council of Monday.
Cllr Price, who represents Dawlish Central and North East Ward, will succeed Cllr Mike Hocking, who represents Newton Abbot Bradley Ward as the figurehead for the council.
Upon taking the robes, Cllr Price said: "It is an honour to be elected as chairman of the council and I will serve it to the best of my ability."
