A COMPROMISE by planners over a link road to help deliver 1,000 houses on the edge of Dawlish has been reached.
Despite councillors expressing their concern at the fact construction traffic would still be diverted through Sandy Lane and Elm Grove Drive, they reluctantly accepted at Wednesday's planning meeting that the only viable way to deal with the issue is through a construction management plan.
