A YOUNG woman pedestrian was injured after colliding with a pick-up truck in a Dawlish car park this morning.

The 26-year-old casualty from Torquay suffered head, hand and foot injuries in the incident at Oak Park Villas.

It’s thought the vehicle accidentally ran over her foot during a reversing manoeuvre just after 9am.

The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Torbay Hospital’s accident and emergency department.
