A few days ago i saw a man measure the pothole and came back later to fill it in which he supposingly did.

This is how it looks today.

The Victorian's would be turning in their graves over the way Dawlish has been so poorly maintained. If they knew how much common folk actually pay these council's to maintain Dawlish they would be getting out of their graves.

And before certain perfect people correct me that DCC/ highways have responsibilty for the roads, I know. I am simply making a point about the great cost to the rate/tax payer and the ineffectual maintenance that takes place.

@ZIGGY i know, this lasted less than 24 hours.  it's a really nasty one if a motorbike hits it.  it's still reported on the pothole site, dcc really needs to pull it's collective finger out.  i do hope the contractor doesn't charge twice for this shoddy work.
