It's number 2 not 8. Here's the planning link. You never know, sales don't always go through, particularly when there are access disputes. If you are interested in moving to Dawlish keep your eye on Rightmove, Zoopla etc http://gis.teignbridge.gov.uk/TeignbridgePlanningOnline/SearchAddressMap.aspx?PropertyUprn=100040306269&x=296695&y=77042

Thank you OurSoul. You forget SWW has an 03 number so if you've got free minutes tariff, it won't cost. Plus you get free on hold music while you wait to get through.
More to the point Webmaster look at who reported it in the first place. They're as much of your problem as Mrs C.
Hope they take it to a vet who will know if it's microchipped.
Would be interested to know if any of our Town Councillors are considering standing for TDC.
Another from 1928 from the same site (probably better from the link). http://www.britainfromabove.org.uk/image/epw023661?search=dawlish&ref=11
I don't want to see photos of someone's misfortune, especially when their condition isn't known. All this is deeply unpleasant.
And here are the directors. http://companycheck.co.uk/company/07761331/WELLNESS-2020-LIMITED/directors-secretaries#people-summary Bizarre. Why would the police issue such a vague warning when you only have to google the phone number to trace them.
Thanks. I appreciate you always taking the time to find these things out.
I saw them up close in Norway a few years ago, they were magical. If we saw them as a matter of course in this country I wonder if we might all calm down a bit? Without doubt Devon offers food for the soul too, do we end up taking such things for granted when there's easy access to them?
Oh just give it a rest will you Elvis. You didn't have to post anything at all but you just couldn't let it go could you. Not sure why you take the moral highground, you're no better.
Apparently it's International Apostrophe Day on Friday 15th August so I might give the carnival floats a miss and stay in and celebrate it.
I've asked Alex Salmond if he'll include it in the Scottish referendum and I've told Dave I'll vote for him if he promises to include it in the European referendum (of course that's not true). I acknowledge this pavilion is more popular that I'd hoped but I still think the Lawn should be a place for calm and quiet recreation, not shattered by kids screaming and basketballs pounding. Have a ...
Thanks, just looked at it. Am surprised, and of course disappointed. With all the chatter from those against I thought it was heading for a resounding rejection. Clearly not. I guess we just have to accept people have different views on what's good for Dawlish and good on those for pushing ideas forward in the first place. Unless... now are you quite sure the voting wasn't rigged? I hope ...
If the aerial's pointing towards the back of the town towards Badlake Hill, I think it's Dawlish Relay, and if it's pointing towards Exmouth it's Stockland Hill. I may be wrong though.
Yes, my apologies, Fred. I got you muddled. Have edited it.
Needs to be able to fit tiles around nooks, crannies and curves! Thanks.
How old is the hospital? Am intrigued to understand whether it was design, materials, workmanship or act of god that caused the roof to fail. My mother's 60 year old roof is still watertight without any work ever done to it. Sign of the times?
I always assumed Carer was male... Let's leave it eh. The point is I was complimenting the event.
I wondered it it was possible that Coryton Cove could ever win a Blue Flag or whether it involves factors beyond its control e.g. size and tidal effects. Here are the criteria: http://www2.keepbritaintidy.org/Programmes/Beaches/BlueFlag/EnglishCriteria/Default.aspx
TDC has insurance on the structure but the Holmans said they were unable to obtain business insurance because of its proximity to the sea.
Do you know if it's NR or FGW in charge of station repairs?
Yep, that's a train! Good old Dawlish webcam, don't even need to go down there to check.
Leatash, I said 'one of' not 'the'...semantics...no matter. Lynne - thank you. Maybe the Dawlish Gazette would fly the flag for the town. I saw your post of Mark Carne's statement regarding the views of stakeholders, so once the repair work is done I guess it'll come down to whether Dawlish 'stakeholders' have the wherewithal to hold their own.
Think I'll just go direct to pub.
I'll second it!
Just had a look at it and it really is top notch quality. Someone better tell those Network Rail engineers though, they were just walking along the track and you could almost pick up what they were saying! Thanks for installing it.
It's often said you get the government and the media you deserve. These days it's style over substance for most politicians, whatever their party. I can't imagine an honest politician would survive, the media would tear them to shreds for not having a spin on everything.
During the summer the Starcross road can be very slow and the road up to Countess Wear gets busy at peak times but it's probably the most direct route in terms of distance. I vary it. Luscombe Hill, Ashcombe Road and Mamhead Woods are all very picturesque routes but with the first two you sometimes have to reverse to let oncoming traffic pass in the narrow lanes.
This from Anne Marie Morris on Twitter: "I will ensure that I do not personally benefit from any MP pay rise after 2015. Independently set & cannot be justified."
I know, fancy getting your knickers in a twist over an 'imposter' on an anonymous website!!
Business must be bad. The ship was under arrest last year.
thanks @gamer My laptop (Windows 8) is connected by wifi. The Digiflex dongle is compatible with it so I'll give it a go. Thanks very much.
You mean the showcase or the improvement to the building? Don't know about the other building you mention but I'm happy to see the council retain and renovate it.
As someone who was critical of many aspects of Carnival week, I thought the Airshow and entire weeked was fantastic, right through to Monday night in the Marquee. Hopefully it's clear for all to see that collaborating rather than being a closed shop is in the town's interest. I was very proud to see how Dawlish raised its game. More of the same please!
Thanks. I love seeing old pictures of Dawlish. Does anyone know if Dawlish Airshow organises any aerial photos or do the crews need to be focused on the flying? They'd make very good local history documents.
Flour or flower? There's a not so subtle difference!
Yes, Dawlish News does photo developing and next door, Vivian Gallery, does assorted prints, picture framing etc (or at least used to, I've not bought a picture recently).
Apparently it's scheduled to get two waterings a week for the next 6-8 weeks. I don't pass often enough to know if that's happening but if not call the Teignbridge Open Spaces number on 215851.
