If the Farmers Market is not supported as much as some people think it should be maybe it's something to do with the price of things. e.g one steak pie £4 one loaf of bread over £3. It's not the case of not paying those prices the ordinary everyday family couldn't afford to.

Motorists are being urged to be on their guard after what police have described as an 'organised' spate of vehicle crime. Police have urged car owners in Teignbridge to clean out their cars after the wave of vehicle-related crime. And it is thought that travelling criminals may be coming from outside the district to raid cars. They are also targeting people who are parking their cars and ...

Whooooooooooooooooosh, right over Viaduct's head. Like I clearly said, I think it's funny that some people used to think that Roy and Viaduct were one and the same. As ever you can't see the point, probably due to the froth getting in your eyes.
Same here, a person who goes the extra mile to show he cares.
Hi Guys My wife and I have visited Dawlish for the last four years and think it is a great place. Does anyone know if there is anything happening on the Lawn during the period 4th July till 18th July

Innocence (Dedicated to those who are not personally responsible. Without you, this would not be possible. ) I have caught tears in my mouth, washed in the dust of the dead, burned the grass in the meadows, watched the fires spread. I was told by my leaders to kill in my country’s fight. Crimes are defined by victors, We say what’s right. I flew into a building to tear apart ...
Thanks for the information mate, I've checked out that link and there seems to be quite a lot of vacancies around and about. Cheers, much appreciated pal.
Only because the lib dems have been selling the family silver, and they ripped off Wally to the tune of £20,000 for a postage size piece of land. And as TDC valuer admits, it was equivalant to £250,000 a acre. That is what I call well done TDC.
The cost of running Teignbridge Council has risen by just £3,000 as councillors share cars and hunt for bargains to save tax payers money. The figures for 2008 to 2009 show the total cost, including basic allowances, special responsibility allowance, travel and food, rose by £3,299 from 2007 to 2008. In the same period, Torbay Council's bill rose by £19,700. Teignbridge Council leader Alan ...

New Dawlish Town boss Jeff Evans believes taking charge of the Toolstation Premier club will be the biggest challenge in his 30-year managerial career. Bristol-based Evans was confirmed as the new manager at Sandy Lane yesterday after meeting the club's committee and players on Tuesday night. He said he had even shelved retirement plans to accept the challenge of building on the Seasiders' ...
What happens if the sea does go as high as they say it will? The sea levels won't rise by that much for at least another 100 years. By then, our descendents will all be travelling on longer journeys, for example to get to the tropical beach holiday destination The Orkneys, aboard magnetically levitated trains. Short journeys, e.g. to pick up the pension from the Red Rock Post Office, will be ...
There's your answer Dawlishdame. He will never admit to being wrong - it's an unfortunate trait in many of his generation. And as for the irony of the fairytale spreading, libelous **** daring to ask others for evidence to back up their claims, well it's probably gone straight over the head of the saddo.
TRANSPORT campaigners have called for an alternative to the Westcountry's vulnerable coastal rail track after the Government's warning on rising sea levels. Train journeys past the crumbling Dawlish sea wall in South Devon on the region's mainline are routinely blighted by extreme storms and high tides. Following predictions that sea levels in the Westcountry could rise by 40cm (16in) by the ...

I am afraid I am on Alma's side and I ain't no sympathising pensioner...THIS COUNTRY IS GOING MAD...Let's give the chav's the keys to the cities and anyone who retaliates against them LOCK THEM UP! MADNESS. When I was a boy (here we go), we never dreamed of back chatting our elders, nevermind intimidating them. This culture we have needs to be stamped on with a zero tolerance by the authorities.
I hope you will all want to join me in passing on our condolences to the family of Brian Heath, chairman of the Dawlish Carnival. Brian sadly passed away at the weekend.
LOVING tributes have been paid to the chairman of one of Devon's biggest summer festivals after he lost his battle with cancer. Dawlish Carnival Committee chairman Brian Heath, of Upper Longlands, died in Dawlish Hospital on Sunday aged 68. Affectionately known as 'grandad' to carnival royalty, Mr Heath played a key role in putting on the carnival's air show which draws thousands of visitors ...

It has emerged that one of the four cygnets born to the famous black swans of Dawlish this year owes its life to waterfowl warden Derek Porter, who gave the young swan the kiss of life after it almost drowned. Derek, 49, was clearing out the chick pen at the bird enclosure on the Brook last month when someone knocked on the window saying the seven-week-old cygnet was in trouble. Further ...

Perhaps one of the posters who hold strong views should offer themselves as a benevolent dictator. Do as the parties do: promise anything that sounds good, the closer to meaningless marketing bullshit the better. (e.g. Vote "for change" or "a better tomorrow" or "tax reform" or "a bright future" or "a new Britain") When you get in, continue to do as the parties do, i.e. do as you please. ...
From a source that I never expected.....Wally dropped his wallet - boom, boom.
Well done to Paula Black, who won the Totnes Rural Division for the Green Party.
