Dawlish Notices
Hi everyone. I have posted this on the off-chance that you would sponsor me on the HACK - the Hike Against Cruelty to Kids. This is a 25 mile walk on 11th September organised by the NSPCC and starting and finishing at Dawlish Warren. As well as being a worthy cause it is another event that helps to put Dawlish on the map. Morning everyone! Only 6 days to go and counting. Last training walk today so you may catch a glimpse of me this morning walking through Dawlish to the Waren before heading inland up to top of Haldon. Hi again. Well it's over and that's my charity walking done for the year. If you'd been on Dawlish seafront from about 3pm onwards on Sunday you'd have seen 150+ weary walkers wending their way on the last stretch back to the Warren. Thanks for bearing with me on the discussion thread. Even though the thread didn't raise any sponsorship I managed to reach my overall target of £500 which will be a small help to the NSPCC and the great work it does.
