And I bet you a million dollars that it hasn't been TBC that has received a penny of the charges. TBC is in finacial difficulties, there is even talk of them cancelling their unitary authority status. There is also talk the DCC will not entertain TBC coming back into the fold with such a debt as that would mean the tax payers of DCC having to pick up the tab. So wouldn't you think that TBC would ...

The government has funded this survey, so they must have concluded that an inland route is not viable, but that there is mileage in keeping the Dawlish Warren to Teignmouth line.
I saw drinking going on outside of Seabreeze the other night. Does this mean the licence WAS granted?
I wonder what car makers are doing this. Diesel has again become a toxic fuel after it emerged car companies were fiddling the results of environmental tests in order to sell their vehicles.
Calamari. Taking your eye off the ball is to me falling asleep on the job. If he had been wide awake, he would have known what was going on. He is just not up to it. Move over. He is not fit for purpose.
Diana Mond. Answer to 1. = Nothing that I can see. Answer to 2. Not sure, except it was aimed at the Transport department of that council. Word has it, Torbay Borough Council ( A unitary authority) is also in a spot of bother finacialy. They were/are trying to get DCC to take them back. Little chance of that happening as DCC will not take on the debt.
Judge Graham Cottle is a criminal himself. He was once the recorder of Exeter, he was removed from the Exeter circuit for wrong doings and found his way to the Plymouth circuit for a while. He is now back in Exeter but not as the recorder, but as a crooked judge. I have every symphathy with the mum who is against his actions.
Perhaps the vehicle is classed as a medical aid. If it is/was, then no traffic laws can touch it. Strange things can happen every day.
Reading the article further, the American lobyist's are claiming that the higher standards that we have in place----------------------------------------------------------Phew! is a form of tarriff. So tarriff's come in all sorts of way's. That has got to be a new one.
More reason's why there should be a levy placed on those can's. How about 20p per can refunded when you take the can back.
plod, the circles are of your own making. Good old Dusty, I think you will find these few words just apt. Like a circle in a spiral Like a wheel within a wheel Never ending or beginning On an ever spinning reel Like a snowball down a mountain Or a carnival balloon Like a carousel that's turning Running rings around the moon Like a clock whose hands are sweeping Past the minutes of ...
Had a text from Argos (it stacked under Argos, along with the "your order is ready for collection" texts- which is a bit odd...) Apparently, I have a refund due of £180!
Lets hope others will follow suit and within the same time frame. It can be done.
Rail franchises 'not giving value for money' A highly critical report from the National Audit Office says passengers on the UK's largest rail franchise have suffered the worst disruption in the country. It adds that services on Southern, Thameslink and Great Northern have been the worst on the network since Govia Thameslink (GTR) took over their running in 2015. Users have not been provided with ...
I didn't see it officer.
I think!!!!!!! He deserved it for destroying the lib dems. Howzat?
Whether they consented or not, the crooked judge Cottle did not take into consideration that they were under age. So does it send out a message that providing underage girls consent, everything will be legal if they have sex?
Your imput is debateable more than most, as how would you know that damage is to a lesser or greater extent. If something was a total wipeout, all you could say is, that it didn't work.
No one know's yet whether or not it will be an improvement. We shall have to wait on that one.
What needs to happen though is, that those that are working should not have to live off benefits and regularly go to food banks just to live. So, do you live to work or work to live?
For sometime I have felt there are many contributers to this site that get it wrong so it reminded me of the following. @page { margin: 2cm } p { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; line-height: 120% } The Schitt Family History is finally revealed. Many people are at a loss for a response when someone says "You don't know Jack Schitt!" Read on and you'll be able to handle the situation intelligently. ...
Yeah, it is old but no reason why it should not be mentioned again. Keep the kettle boiling until the bottom drops out.
Once a script is made up, it is for that person only. The drugs cannot be put back in stock. Some drugs have a limited shelf life, but as you all know, there is a label on the boxes and that label cannot be easily removed. It can be removed with care but who is going to take the trouble and time to do that? There is a bar code on most everything we buy these days and there is more information in ...
From the RTRA 1984 if it appears to the local authority that the provision in their area of further off-street parking accommodation is unnecessary or undesirable, the following purposes— (i) meeting costs incurred, whether by the local authority or by some other person, in the provision or operation of, or of facilities for, public passenger transport services, (ii) the purposes of a ...
http://www.devonlive.com/news/devon-news/private-parking-firm-admits-incorrectly-791473 Ilfracombe council should do the donkey work and tell PP that they should automatically pay back the wrongly issued PCN's, after all it is a holiday resort and how many people would know about this article if the did not live here or even buy the paper. PP have all the details of those that SLIPPED THROUGH ...
Just had a reply back from Torbay Borough Council and they are deeper in pooh than DCC. The cost to the council and ultimately to the tax payer will be in excess of £200,000. And people vote in those that are supposed to be looking after our affairs. Yeah- alright then. So are councillors fit for purpose and more importantly the officers that they employ to carry out the functions they are given?
Perhaps someone could write to network rail on a personal level, and ask NR why they do not like the idea of putting seating along the sea wall at various locations.
Low life like that deserve more than that.
I don't know, but it may have something to do with LA's cutting costs and therefore cutting out some of the services provided by the community service buses. Awhile ago DCC cut the services of some rural buses and I belive there is more to come. This committee may be tasked with providing a soloution to any further potential cuts and deciding whether it is value for money to keep all or allow ...
No! you are not being obtuse. I should have made it clearer thus:- The law only applies to those that are able to apply it. If they decide not to apply the law, then who else can? If the parking services decide to ignore the PCN issued to certain people (and it is there right to do so) They call it using their discretion. Who is going to challenge that decision?
The biggest lie I have heard from Theresa May in her conference speech. Our national debt is the lowest it has ever been BUT:- The UK national debt has risen by £555 billion since 2010 under ... And 2bn of that went to the DUP to support keeping the CONS in power So is it a misleading statement or what?
If anyone is intersted, the point to points that were scheduled at Black Forest. Two have gone to Ottry st Mary and one has gone to Tavistock. Ottery 19th Nov 2017 and 14th April 2018. Not sure of the date at Tavistock.
Not me. I have seen them so many times, I have lost interest in looking out for them.
DEEDOODLE, What would you like to changed?
Car Parking has always been an issue and in reply to ZIGGY People only have themselves to blame for not having enough parking spaces. Council officers are very shrewed players. They can ignore legislation to suit themselves. It is only when they are found out - the blame games start. Officers advise members, and most members haven't a clue what officers are advising them. so a nod and a wink ...
